Thank you so much - I was so excited when I saw your message first thing this morning! (and so relieved!) The first set of photos were previously transferred (and subsequently deleted ones) from the card but the second set were the important ones and having had a look at the thumbnails I am so glad I sent them to an expert - I really would not have wanted to have lost them!
